The countdown to kickoff is getting closer and closer to zero and the eyes are on Hasenhuttl’s squad and how they will line up.
Aribo, Lavia and Bazunu are a few of the transfers to name which will improve their squad for the upcoming season. The improvement in goal may help the time it takes for Kane to strike first however it is likely the Spurs squad will be dominant. In the end of pre-season Aribo looked magical and could cause problems for the Tottenham side however the defence should be strong enough to keep out whatever comes at them. Furthermore the Saints superstar Ward-Prowse will be a threat from set pieces and also linking up with their attack.
The Spurs side last season only managed to come away with 4 points out of 6 they will definitely be looking to improve on that this season. Especially with the dominance shown in the first game and no open play goals to show for it. On top of that they will want to put on a show for the fans considering it is the first game week of the season. Kane will be looking to start on a flyer, with the new signings wanting to start in a similar fashion.
Conte will want to start on a high and keep momentum for the long season ahead.
